Student Travel Grant Program Past the submission deadline The International Symposium on Software Reliability Engineering (ISSRE) is pleased to request applications for its ISSRE'2002 student program. The program was created in 1999 to encourage students' participation to ISSRE. Since then, over 50 students from degree granting institutions in Europe, US and Asia participated in the program. All degree candidates are eligible for abstract submission, but only full time students will be considered for travel grants. This year's sponsors include IBM, Microsoft and Cigital. A travel grant ranging from $300 to $700 will be awarded to meritorious students. The travel grant is intended to cover travel expenses and student registration expenses up to the specified limits. Students interested in participating should submit a 1,000 word long abstract (be sure to choose "Student Papers Track" checkbox in the "topics" section). Abstracts will be reviewed and selection will be based on the following criteria:
The deadline for reception of the abstract is August 1, 2002. Acceptance notification will be sent to the recipients of the award at the latest by September 1, 2001. For general information on this program, please contact Prof. Bojan Cukic (cukic@csee.wvu.edu). The recipients of the student travel award will be required to submit a camera-ready short paper, which will be included in the supplemental conference proceedings, present their work in a short talk and as a poster during the conference. Posters will also appear at the conference Web site, accompanied by student's short bio. Further details will be provided upon the acceptance of the abstract.
